Astrocartography: your planetary lines on the world map

Enter your birth data and see where your Sun, Venus, Jupiter and other planetary lines cross the globe — the places where love, career, money and home themes get amplified. The interactive map is free; a personal AI report names your strongest places.

40 planetary lines

For each of the ten classic planets we compute the four angular lines — Ascendant, Descendant, Midheaven (MC) and IC — with Swiss-ephemeris precision.

Interactive world map

Toggle planets and line types, hover any line for its meaning, zoom into a region and search for a city to see which lines pass nearby.

Relocated chart on click

Click any point of the map and we recalculate your chart for that location: a new Ascendant, Midheaven and house positions for the same birth moment.

Best places by life sphere

The personal AI report scores world cities against your supportive lines and explains your strongest places for love, career, money and home.

How astrocartography works and how to use your map

Astrocartography projects your birth chart onto the globe. At your birth moment every planet was rising, setting, culminating or anti-culminating somewhere on Earth — those somewheres form lines, and each line marks where that planet’s themes are switched on at full volume for you. The map does not change who you are; it changes which sides of your chart the environment keeps activating.

Step 1: A precise natal baseline

From your birth date, exact time and birthplace we calculate the geometry of your natal chart with Swiss-ephemeris precision. The angles — Ascendant and Midheaven — shift about one degree every four minutes, which is why an exact birth time matters: a half-hour error moves your lines by hundreds of kilometres.

Step 2: Forty lines across the globe

For each of the ten classic planets we compute where it sat exactly on the four angles — rising (ASC), setting (DSC), culminating (MC) and at the lowest point (IC). The result is forty lines across the world map, each carrying the planet’s themes through the lens of that angle: identity, relationships, career or home.

Step 3: Distance is the dose

A line’s influence is strongest within roughly 250–500 km and fades beyond ~700 km. That is why the map lets you check specific cities: the same Venus line can be life-changing in Lisbon and barely noticeable in Madrid. Several lines crossing near one place blend their themes.

Step 4: From lines to decisions

The relocated chart for any point shows your new Ascendant, Midheaven and house emphasis, and the AI layers translate the raw geometry into plain language: what a place supports, what it demands, and how to test it with a trip before committing to anything bigger.

Astrocartography FAQ

Common questions about planetary lines, relocation astrology and how to read an astrocartography map.

What is astrocartography?

Astrocartography projects your birth chart onto the world map. For every planet it draws the places where that planet was rising (Ascendant line), setting (Descendant), culminating (MC) or at the lowest point (IC) at your birth moment. Living in or visiting places near a line strengthens that planet’s themes in your life.

How close to a line do I need to be?

Most astrologers use an orb of roughly 250–500 km. The closer you are, the stronger the effect; beyond ~700 km the line’s influence is usually considered minor.

Which lines are considered lucky?

Venus and Jupiter lines are traditionally the most supportive: Venus for love, beauty and money, Jupiter for growth and opportunity. Sun MC favours career visibility, Moon IC favours home. Saturn and Pluto lines are demanding rather than bad — they suit disciplined goals.

Do I have to move to use my lines?

No. Trips, remote work connections, business partners and even long-distance projects with a place can activate a line. A vacation on a line is a good low-stakes way to test it before any big decision.

Why does the map need my exact birth time?

The angular lines are built from the Ascendant and Midheaven, which shift about one degree every four minutes. An uncertain birth time moves the lines by hundreds of kilometres.

What is a relocated chart?

It is your natal chart recalculated for a different place: the planets stay in the same signs, but the Ascendant, Midheaven and houses change. Click any point on our map to see your relocated angles instantly.
